Wall

The paintings explore street art and the geometric shapes and colours found within. I have
incorporated these themes with ideas of identity and self-expression. Why is it we feel the need to wear a mask or hide our true selves? It interests me how graffiti covers a wall, and a wall veils the interior of a building. This is like how we wear masks or make up, or act in ways that maybe hide or disguise our inner truth. For me to express myself using a street style allows my true inner-world to unfold upon this exterior veil or wall.
